I want to help raise a child.

Remember that proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child?” Now if that village was a forward-thinking design team, made up of product managers, graphic and user experience designers, developers and stakeholders… and that child was a user-centred product, created to solve problems and enhance the end-user experience, then, yes, I’d like to be part of that proverbial village raising that child.”

You say, “It takes commitment.”
I say, “I’m in – hook, line and sinker!”

Optimistic. Empathetic. Passionate. Collaborative. Flexible.

These are five words used to describe me. Not just in a professional capacity, but in a personal one too. I’m optimistic in believing there’s always a solution to a problem. I’m empathetic in trying to understand user challenges. I’m passionate about finding the solution because it provides meaning to the user and purpose to my work. I’m collaborative in knowing that great ideas are born of collective thought processes and that there’s much to be learned from working together. I’m flexible in my methods and open to new ways of doing things.
